Refund & Cancellation Policy

Your satisfaction is our priority. Here's everything you need to know about returns and refunds.

1. Our Commitment to You

At Mr Clearance we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something is wrong with your order, we will do everything we can to make it right.

We are a small family business and we take pride in our products and customer service. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any concerns.

2. When You Can Return an Item

We accept returns in the following circumstances:

  • ✅ The item you received is defective or damaged
  • ✅ You received the wrong item (different from what you ordered)
  • ✅ The item is significantly different from the product description on our website
  • ✅ The item was not delivered within the agreed timeframe

❌ We do not accept returns for: Change of mind, incorrect size selected by the customer, items that have been used, washed, or had their tags removed, or items purchased during a final clearance sale marked as non-returnable.

3. Return Time Frame

All return requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.

Returns requested after 7 days will not be accepted unless the item has a manufacturing defect that only becomes apparent with use.

⏰ Important: Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if there is a problem — don't wait!

4. Condition of Returned Items

For a return to be accepted, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and unwashed
  • In their original packaging where possible
  • All tags and labels still attached
  • No signs of wear, damage caused by the customer, or alterations

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item does not meet these conditions.

5. How to Request a Return

Starting a return is simple. Follow these steps:

We Confirm

We review your request and confirm whether the return is approved within 24 hours

Return Item

Drop off or arrange collection of the item. We will advise on the return method

Get Refund

Refund processed within 5–7 business days once item is received and inspected

6. Refunds

Once your return is approved and the item has been received and inspected, your refund will be processed.

Day 1 — Return Approved

We confirm your return is approved via WhatsApp

Day 1–3 — Item Received

We receive and inspect the returned item

Day 3–5 — Refund Initiated

Refund is initiated back to your original payment method via PayFast

Day 5–7 — Refund Received

Refund reflects in your bank account (timing depends on your bank)

Refunds are made to the original payment method used at checkout. We cannot refund to a different account or card.

💳 Note: Your bank may take additional time to process the refund once initiated. This is outside our control. Please allow up to 7 business days before contacting your bank.

7. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange an item for a different size or colour where stock is available. Please contact us via WhatsApp to discuss exchange options before returning your item.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If your preferred replacement is not available, a full refund will be issued.

8. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order at any time before payment is made. Simply do not complete the payment process.

Once payment has been made:

  • If your order has not yet been packed or dispatched, we will cancel and refund your order in full.
  • If your order has already been packed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You will need to follow the returns process once you receive the item.

To cancel an order, contact us immediately via WhatsApp at +27 67 769 8001 with your order number.

9. Delivery Issues

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us via WhatsApp and we will investigate immediately.

  • Local delivery: If your order has not arrived within 2 business days of confirmation, please contact us.
  • PAXI/PUDO courier: If your order has not arrived within the estimated courier timeframe, please contact us with your tracking number.

If an item is confirmed lost in transit, we will either resend the item or issue a full refund at your preference.
